The wood shell is a first for electronic drums and offers that extra bit of authenticity and durability you know you can rely on. Coupled with the wood shell is heavy-duty chrome hardware that has been specifically designed by Roland for the VAD series, which contributes to its timeless look.
Effortless installation
The 12'' VAD Tom Drum comes with your typical tom mount allowing you to set up your kit much quicker and stress-free. The wood shell is incredibly lightweight, at only 3.4kg, which is extremely handy when travelling between shows. With the tom being a standard acoustic tom shape, it will fit in your regular drum bags with ease. The drum connects with a simple 1/4'' jack cable straight to your drum module allowing for an extra-tidy setup.
Advance drumheads
Both the batter and resonant head on the PDA120 are constructed of two plies of mesh allowing for a smooth and responsive feel. Underneath the mesh sits a dual-zone trigger delivering separate head and rim triggering; with this, you can apply all kinds of classic drumming techniques and playing styles to your session.
