The Tama pancake kit comes with ultra-shallow drum shells combined with a cut off shell design. This design allows you to stack your drums within each other, whilst providing a nice balance of dry drum tones and a perfect level of sound. Complete with a hairline black finish to achieve a unique look and character, the classic wood bass drum hoops ensure a vintage look. Whilst the bass drum is extremely shallow compared to conventional bass drums, this 18’’ x 4’’ drum still manages to deliver punchy yet responsive tones.
100% Poplar Construction
The Pancake kit is constructed from 100% poplar shells to guarantee a large range of tones with a varied tuning range. The poplar construction provides soft highs and mid-tones with a warm low end to deliver a smooth drum sound. Producing an element of durability, the poplar shells add to the quality of this kit ensuring it can withstand bumps and knocks along the way.
