The Tama SLP 14'' x 10'' Duo Snare Snare Drum w/ Legs is a unique snare drum which provides a fat-tone auxiliary snare for your setup. The tom leg design allows you to place Tama SLP Duo Snare where you would regularly have a floor tom - or anywhere else. Unlike a regular snare drum, the Duo Snare is 10'' deep, providing deep tonal contrast to your main snare.
Constructed from a 7-ply birch shell, the Tama Duo Snare features a tight, aggressive tone with great projection. The depth makes the snare tone fatter and significantly ''boomier''. However, with the snare wire off it produces a brighter, responsive mid-tom sound, hence the ''Duo'' aspect of this drum.

The SLP Duo snare is a creative new addition to the Tama SLP line-up. Designed to be a snare and tom duo, it can be used to add a tonne of flare and creativity to your performances. Just use the snare throw-off to switch between tom and snare sound.
Built from 7-ply, 7mm birch, the shell tone is aggressive with enhanced high and low frequencies. The combination of depth and shell construction provides a uniquely deep, fat, and dry tone that adds character to all kinds of groove, from fat shuffle grooves to funky licks. The Transparent Mocha finish adds a certain vintage aesthetic to your setup.
