Key Features
Have full control of the tension on the pedal due to the quick adjusting cam on the Yamaha FP9 Direct Drive Single Pedal. This is a direct drive pedal, meaning your foot and the beater have a direct link, making the response time instantaneous. The link has three positions to choose from, allowing you to fine tune the pedals action to match your preferred performance. The Direct Drive Single Pedal by Yamaha is fitted with a weight adjustable beater which allows you to attain your preferred sound and feel. Included is an aluminium (3g) weight and a brass (9g) weight, both of which can be attached and removed easily. The heel of the pedal comes equipped with spikes that prevent the pedal from slipping when playing, providing improved stability.

The axle stabilising bearing chamber is the blue part next to the chain of the pedal. The frame and bearing cover are independently smoothed and precisely fabricated before assembly, allowing them to be aligned with the central axis of the shaft and ball bearings to provide a smooth rotation.
The Yamaha FP9 Direct Drive Single Pedal features an easy access auto lock spring adjustment. Moving the spring adjustment knob upwards simplifies the tension adjustment process which can often be difficult with certain pedals. The knob is locked at a 90-degree angle that prevents it from coming loose on its own.
The beater and foot-board angles can both be independently and freely adjusted. The inclusion of an angle checker allows you to easily recreate your preferred settings for maximum play-ability and optimal performance. In addition to this, the tip of the foot-board is equipped with ball bearings, which allows for an even smoother performance.
