The Yamaha Stage Custom Hip 20" 3pc w/Crosstown Hardware includes a 20''x 8'' bass drum, 13'' x 8'' floor tom with snare wires and a 10'' x 5'' rack tom, complete with a full range of Yamaha hardware. With 100 percent 6-ply birch wood construction, the Yamaha Stage Custom Hip Shell Pack offers a cutting low-end sound that balances out with sustained overtones.

The floor tom is equipped with 20-strand snare wires, allowing you to transform your floor tom into a deep, 13'' snare drum with only a single action.

Birch wood construction offers a cutting low-end sound

The Yamaha Stage Custom shells are constructed from 6 plies of 100 birch wood which is a classic wood choice for drums because of its boosted high frequencies and good low end. It's ideal for applications requiring extra presence and cut. It's a classic choice for high-end drum kits but the Stage Custom is affordable enough for anyone from students to more established players.

Compact size - ideal for travel

These small diameter shells deliver the Stage Custom sound without compromise. They are ideal for jazz, light sessions work and small venues or as a great all-round second kit for a wide variety of musical styles. The shells can be tuned higher and make less noise than bigger drums, making them perfect for music that requires something 'light and tight'.

Yamaha Hardware

The tom is mounted via the YESS system which helps eliminate potential dampening that happens when the hardware is drilled directly into the shell and gives the tom more resonance and volume.

A tribute to Yamaha design technology, their original ball mount and clamp has gone through very few modifications over the years. A large, ultra-hard resin ball sits in an attractive chromed housing, held in place with a titanium ergonomic wing bolt. It is the ultimate drummer-friendly mount, offering non-slip positioning virtually anywhere. It also permits tuning of the bottom head by simply rotating the drum.

New Stage Custom also adopts die-cast claw hooks with rubber insertion plates to reduce noises. The bass drum legs of Stage Custom have special stoppers to make setting easier. all the heads are Remo which ensures reliable and consistent tone and performance.

Yamaha HW3 Crosstown Lightweight Hardware Set

The Yamaha Crosstown lightweight hardware set comes complete with two CS3 cymbal stands, a HHS3 hi-hat stand and SS3 snare stand which are also available independently from the Crosstown hardware set. Constructed from aluminium and with standard diameter tubing that also works with Yamaha System Hardware, the Crosstown hardware offers a 25 - 34 percent lighter weight compared to standard hardware packs. Each item has its own individual protective sleeve to provide further protection when being transported. The carry case included fits all the stands and more due to the compact design of the stands, leaving you space for a kick pedal and stool too.
