The NUX MP-3 Mighty Plug Headphone Amplifier with Bluetooth is not your conventional headphone amp – it's a versatile device designed for electric and bass guitars. With its amp modelling capabilities, cabinet impulse responses (IRs), and acoustic amp modelling, this amplifier allows you to explore a wide range of tones and simulate acoustic guitar sounds. The MP-3 also provides the flexibility to load 3rd party IRs through the Mighty Editor™ edit software, giving you endless possibilities for tone customization.

Equipped with 34 default IRs and 20 user IR slots, the MP-3 offers a vast selection of cabinet simulations to further enhance your sound. The Mighty Amp™ APP (mobile) or Mighty Editor™ edit software (PC) enables you to easily customize presets and adjust the order of effect blocks. Whether you want to change the order of the blocks or experiment with different effects, this intuitive interface allows you to do it all with ease.

Changing between presets is a breeze with the MP-3. Simply press the PRESET switch to cycle through the presets from 1 to 7, and the indicator will display a different colour for each preset. Customize which presets are active by using the Mighty Amp™ APP or Mighty Editor™ edit software, giving you complete control over your live performances or recording sessions.

Studio-grade effects and third-party IRs

With GATE, COMP, EFX, AMP, IR, EQ, MOD, DLY, and RVB options, the MP-3 offers a comprehensive range of signal blocks and parameters for you to tweak. In addition to the built-in IRs, there are 20 empty slots available for loading 3rd party IRs, expanding your sonic possibilities even further. And with the WAV(IR) sample rate automatically converted by the Mighty Editor™ edit software, integrating these IRs into your setup is a breeze.

Integrated USB audio interface

Not only does the MP-3 deliver exceptional tonal capabilities, but it also functions as a USB recording interface. With support for Normal / Dry Out / Re-amp / Loopback routing, you can effortlessly adjust and control your recording setup through the Mighty Amp™ APP or Mighty Editor™ edit software. Say goodbye to the complicated USB setup in your DAW. Want to livestream your jam sessions? The MP-3's Loopback feature allows you to easily share your music with others in real-time.

Long battery life and robust design

For added convenience, the MP-3 comes with a USB-C cable for charging. While connected to a PC or charger, the device will charge, and the battery indicator will turn green to signify charging. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator will turn off. With an operation time of approximately 5 hours and a charging time of around 2.5 hours, you can rely on the MP-3 for extended playing sessions or recording on the go.

Connecting the MP-3 to your mobile phone via the Mighty Amp™ App is quick and easy. Simply launch the app, select "MIGHTY PLUG PRO" as the current amp in the settings, and scan for available devices. Once connected, the app indicator will turn blue, indicating a successful connection. When connected to your PC via USB, the MP-3 can serve as a portable recording interface, making it an ideal companion for touring musicians.

Additionally, the MP-3's phone output supports TRRS headset or earbuds with a microphone. By selecting the Loopback USE routing, you can seamlessly live stream your performances using your PC or mobile phone (USB On-The-Go). Whether you're jamming at home, recording in the studio, or broadcasting your music to the world, the MP-3 has got you covered.
