Advanced bassists require an advanced EQ system that’s ready for both the stage and studio. The OriginAL’s 5 EQ tone controls offer a full spectrum of tone sculpting capabilities. By using the three mid controls you can effectively remove the frequencies needed for other instruments, whilst emphasising the frequencies needed for a thick, dense tone. In a live situation, the ‘showtime’ button adds the extra flare to your sound. The OriginAL can be carried to each event in place of an amplifier and give you the exact tone you’re familiar with.
Connectivity
The OriginAL’s extensive connectivity makes it ideal for both the stage and studio. The DI output connects the OriginAL directly to your mixer or interface. This is ideal for gigging musicians who don’t want to carry whole amplifiers, but still want a detailed sound. The OriginAL’s FX send and return jacks are ideal to link your pedals before or after your EQ controls. The passive/active switch determines the instrument’s impedance to achieve the cleanest signal possible. The 4 Ohm load jack outputs offer connection to a cabinet speaker for up to 300 watts of power.
