Key Features
Taking the bass amp rule book and rewriting it. The Ashdown Studio 8 30w 1x8 Bass Combo comes in at a mere 6.1kg but carries a tone far larger than its weight could possibly suggest. Portable, practical, and sonically vast and this amp doesn't lack on features either! Featuring a line in, jamming to your favourite songs is as simple as plugging an MP3 player and altering the line mix dial to taste with a headphone out for silent playing.
Built to last for years to come, covered in a heavy Tolex with chromed corners, it won't just last, it will look great. The Ashdown Studio 8 is a good looking, featured-packed amplifier that is great for practising.

At only 6.1kg, you could be fooled into thinking that the tone of a small amp like this wouldn’t be large, but Ashdown have (yet again) proven otherwise! Engineered from the ground up, this amp is designed for home use and is great for practice. Featuring a line in, a line mix knob, so you can alter the level of your MP3 (for example) to your bass level and finally a headphone out so it is easy to practice in silence, keeping housemates, and neighbours happy.
There is a massive + and – 15dB sweep on each of the bass, middle, and treble controls. If you want a more aggressive sound then sweep the mids back a little and slightly boost the trebles. But with your tone controls pointing straight at noon you get a lovely, balanced bass tone and everything else is a matter of taste.
