Offering a staggering number of customisable effects, a companion app to create any sound imaginable, and the powerful GA-FC EX footswitch to control them all remotely, it's the ultimate performing rig. Even better, with 100 Watts and power attenuation at your command, you can drive everything from a full live stack to smaller speakers for more intimate shows. And thanks to the Artist's solo boost feature with onboard level control, you're sure to stand out.
But the tone shaping doesn't stop there! Because the Artist is loaded with several exclusive panel dials to make gigging life easier. A three-way contour switch pairs with global EQs to allow for easy on-the-fly adjustment. And if you need even more control, support for external footswitches and MIDI devices will allow you to perform with seamless fluidity. If you're just practising or recording, then the built-in mic'd cabinet emulation with five selectable Air Feel settings provides an authentic and immersive sound for your listeners. Rock the stage and the studio with the Artist MKII amp head and GA-FC EX foot controller combo.

The Boss GA-FC EX Foot Controller is the perfect way to optimise your live setup. An improved version of the regular GA-FC, it offers a host of secondary functions for each control, so you can customise your setup with ease. You'll get access to two different tap tempo switches, as well as separate Reverb, Delay, FX, Modulation and Booster controls. You can change the function of each with the footswitch at the end for exceptional control over your rig at all times.
Two status LEDs for each switch clearly display which mode you're using - no clumsy mishaps for you! But there's more. Take a look around the back and you'll find some brand new inputs for even more dynamism. Two expression pedals can be attached separately, giving you control over more effects parameters. With the Mode switch, you can even add in a third expression pedal, or change to Expand mode to attach another GA-FC EX! Finally, you can change to Foot Control 2, which lets you hook up a second amp to this dynamic controller. The sky is the limit.
The Artist offers several improvements and enhancements over the standard Katana head to provide the ultimate amp experience. Firstly, the dials are now front facing for easier shaping and tweaking during a performance. Secondly, extra onboard Solo and Contour controls allow you to craft even more bespoke tones for cutting through a mix. And speaking of mixes, the cabinet emulation of the Artist provides mix ready signals for recording or sending to a house PA system.
Boss Tone Studio takes your Katana experience even further, especially with the Artist range! It allows you to adjust your effect orders, dial in global EQs, and customise system settings amongst many other possiblities! What's more, the Livesets functionality lets you save your favourite setups for instant amp reconfiguration.
Authentic tube warmth, every time you plug in. The Boss Katana Artist MKII ensures every player can experience the coveted sound of a genuine tube amplifier in a design that's built for the modern stage. Using Boss's Tube Logic approach, the Katana MKII becomes richer and more responsive as you crank up the volume.
And, thanks to an incorporated power control, finding that tube tone sweet spot is simpler than ever. Just dial back the wattage and maintain high volume to unleash inspiring crunch tones in any environment. With the Artist, you can use the Boss Tone Studio app to set the power in 10W increments, letting you fine tune the amp for your situation.
For a refined performance and massive tones, hook up the Artist head with its companion cabinet. It's specially designed to enhance and articulate the tones of the Artist head thanks to two custom designed Waza speakers. These capture the benchmark tones and response of classic British 25-watt stack speakers, while boosting the power capacity to a whopping 100 Watts.
