Key Features
The Charvel Pro-Mod So Cal Style 1 HH HT E is a guitar to meet the needs of touring professionals. Featuring high quality components and an incredibly smooth playing design, it'll keep you performing at your best night after night. That starts with a pair of finely tuned Seymour Duncan humbuckers, which promise uproarious and saturated tones at the bridge, and rolled back, smooth vintage chimes at the neck.
Backing up these articulate and versatile voicings is a dynamic and engaging playability. The neck is hand rubbed to a satin finish for a super sleek feel, while the ebony fretboard has a compound radius curve to accommodate all manner of playing styles. This is topped off with the reliability that a Charvel hardtail bridge and locking machine head combo grants, with intonation remaining on point throughout the most demanding of sets. Complete with easy access truss rod adjustment for neck relief tweaks, there's no finer instrument for a pro musician.

A set of Seymour Duncans serve up all the gnarly tones you could need. At the bridge lies a Distortion TB-6 which is tuned for high output, tight lows and screaming highs - perfect for cutting through a mix. The neck hosts a more reserved '59™ SH-1N, tuned for chunky, vintage style sonics. It's lower output, smoother sounding, and works superbly for crunchy blues or clean rhythm work.
And it only gets better, because both these pickups can be coil split to slice up the sound and unlock the soulful twangy character of single coils. Altogether, this pickup combo packs enough sonic versatility to satisfy any performer.
Slim, sleek, and built for speed. The shape and hand-rubbed satin finish of the maple neck allow for super-fast transitions around the scales, while the compound radius of the ebony fretboard enables quick chording at the nut, and expansive solos further up the frets. And speaking of frets, they're high quality jumbo sized wires, so you can string bend to the extreme without choking out, and enjoy years of precision fretting performance.
The Charvel Pro-Mod So Cal Style 1 HH HT E is built to perform night after night. With locking Charvel machine heads and a precision engineered Charvel hardtail bridge, your guitar will stay in tune at all times - no matter how hard you hit the strings!
In tandem, these provide pitch perfect intonation across the scales and are easily adjustable if you need to tweak things while on the road. Speaking of adjustments, it's a breeze to change the neck-relief thanks to the easy access, heel mounted truss rod wheel. If you're reguarlarly changing string gauges or performing routine maintenance, this is an invaluable feature!
