Key Features
The Cort CMV112 Speaker Cabinet is a lightweight, compact cab that achieves a glorious vintage inspired tone. Thanks to the tricks of modern technology, Cort have reinvented the classic speaker sound that was first installed into the amplifier in the 1930s and helped pave the way for generations of guitar music from the 1950s/60s onward. These old-school harmonics are achieved with the help of Cort's longstanding collaborator Moollon, whose continuous innovation in the speaker field has helped to achieve the true voice of these historic tube amps. Both lightweight and compact, the metal frame of the cab is made from aluminium, ensuring a highly durable product which is easy to handle - you can be sure it will stick with you wherever you go.

Individually selected and specifically designed, the speaker inside this cabinet is crafted to best represent the natural compression and luscious dynamics of that old-school valve sound from yesteryear. Made especially by Moollon for Cort amplification, the frame, cone, magnet, damper and dust cap materials have been meticulously selected to bring a delicate yet rich tone to the 30-watt speaker.
The cabinet itself is constructed from birch plywood wrapped in water and dust resistant tolex. This cabinet is designed to survive all the trials of life on the road - be it gigging, regular rehearsal or studio time. With the all black design combined with minimalist gold edges and Cort logo underneath the three ivory racing stripes, this cab yields a classically simple visual aesthetic that will fit in on any stage.
