Compact, sleek and powerful
It's a compact design that's going to fit in anywhere, be that a bedroom, recording studio or on the stage! This makes it ideal for those just starting out, or a player that needs a smaller, more agile unit. Nevertheless, it still packs a punch with an output of 40w from a 10" speaker. Carefully balanced by Cort, it handles the 40W with ease, allowing you to get roaring volume without losing detail, fantastic for jam sessions or practice environments...
Total tone shaping
It certainly gets loud, but the beauty of the CM40B is just how much you can sculpt the sound. Most importantly, it offers two mid controls, low and high, allowing you to fine tune that critical section to your taste. Followed up by bass, treble and master dials, you can flick through a variety of textures and sonics to match your genre.
If that wasn't enough, you have further tonal tonics in the form of a bright switch and gain channel. Infuse a shimmer on to your highs with the bright switch engaged, meanwhile gain will add throaty distortion to your rumbling tones. To add even more attitude, turn the gain control up to maximum for a satisfying, subterranean growl.
Multiple uses
Get connected. With a headphone out and an auxiliary input you can keep playing at night or jam along to your favourite tracks. No more disturbing the neighbours! And even if you don't want to play along to a backing track, the aux in will let you listen to music. For those teams you need to record or play live, a preout can get you connected to a PA or recording console, with the exact same tone that fires out of the amp.
