The SVT-7 Pro comes designed with an extensive number of controls that allow you to adjust your bass’s tone in order to find your desired style. Featured on this model is a 3-band EQ, which allows you to boost or cut certain frequencies. This is great for different venue sizes as your bass may sound too low and boomy in one venue, or too high in another. It ensures you will always sound perfect no matter where you play. It also comes with ultra hi/low buttons that let you boost certain frequencies.
On the left of the amp head is a compression knob, which lets you control the dynamic range of your bass, and a gain knob, that adds distortion to your tone no matter what the volume level is set at. Once you’ve got those set, you can use the FX mix to add effects. Having this feature ensures that they sound crisp and clean in the mix. Finally, crank up the volume and rock out.
Silent performance
Do you worry about bothering the neighbours while you rehearse? Thanks to the headphone jack, you are able to plug in and play for as long as your heart desires without anybody hearing anything but the mere pluck of your strings. It also features a button that allows you to mute your bass without having to turn down your volume knob. This is great for tuning during a gig, as you have all your controls set up exactly how you need them, and you don’t have to worry about messing up your levels.
