The G9350 Park Avenue Mandolin is from the Gretsch Roots collection and aims to bring you vintage tone, looks and playability. With its traditional F-style design and vintage appointments, it certainly has the aesthetic of an instrument from decades past. The G9350 has a projecting acoustic tone with its solid tonewoods, but for when you need that extra volume on stage, its onboard pickup system provides a modern touch and lets you plug into an amplifier for live performance. Here is an instrument which gives you the best of vintage and modern features, and whether you play country, bluegrass, blues or folk, the G9350 will give you the tones to be able to do so in a stylish way.
The Gretsch G9350 features a solid spruce top which is a bright and well-rounded tonewood to give you a solid platform for your tone. It includes maple back and sides to provide the strength and stability for excellent acoustic projection. The neck is crafted from warm and resonant mahogany with a strong katalox fingerboard to transfer vibrations effectively. Finished in sunburst, the G9350 Park Avenue has a quaintly-traditional aesthetic which perfectly matches its sweet acoustic tones.
The Fishman Nashville pickup is designed to re-create the sweet tone of the Park Avenue mandolin in a live environment. It does this sympathetically and accurately so you can be sure that your audience will be able to hear everything that you can. This modern touch gives the G9350 the ability to be used in loud environments where acoustic instruments would usually be drowned out; you'll have no problem keeping up with those loud guitars and drums.
The G9350 Park Avenue includes a vintage semi-gloss finish which makes it very comfortable to play for long sessions. The F-style body design, oval sound-hole, nickel hardware, engraved tailpiece and rosette all come together to give this mandolin a timeless appearance and when it comes home with you, you'll be sure that you've owned and cherished it for years.
