Hartke's Legendary Tone Sculpting Controls

The Bass Attack 2 is the result of Hartke's years of experience focusing on the needs of bassists all over the world. The Bass Attack 2 delivers unique tone-shaping capabilities thanks to this experience and development, giving you access to Hartke's legendary Shape circuitry, which activates a specialised preset EQ curve that can be customised using the Shape Frequency and Amount control knobs. You can also add a little extra tone colouration with the Bass and Treble knobs, alongside the dedicated Contour EQ switch.

Built-In Overdrive & Renowned DI Circuitry

The Bass Attack 2 features an excellent overdrive circuit that gives you complete creative control, whether you're looking for subtle driven tube emulation or all out fuzz. The Tone control lets you choose your desired amount of high-frequency growl, while the dedicated Mix control gives you complete authority over the wet/dry blend of your sculpted overdrive tone. The Bass Attack 2 also features Hartke's highly regarded DI circuitry, with 1/4'' parallel output for dry signals, and a 1/4'' effect output for your amplifier. It also comes equipped with a balanced XLR direct ouput, so you have a wide choice for a versatile and flexible set of output options for FOH or studio recording consoles. The direct output Pre/Post switch enables you to adjust your stage sound without affecting the mix sent from the XLR to the FOH. Another benefit to this, is that the Bass Attack 2 can be powered directly from a mixer's phantom power output via the XLR jack.
