Key Features
Perfect for stage and studio applications. MOD Devices' MOD Duo X is a pedal like no other. Thanks to the inclusion of two mono inputs you'll be able to connect up to two separate instruments, or capture a single stereo feed. These signals can then be multed, connected or rearranged to however you see fit. The seemingly infinite number of effects, virtual instruments and MIDI tools on offer allow you to achieve an impressive array of tones. With all this fun, you'll be lucky to get anything done!
From musicians to producers, and sound designers to foley artists. The Duo X offers something for everyone. The online MOD plugin gallery comes complete with over 400 free plugins, these are made by some of the finest programmers including MDA and TAL. Constantly updated, you'll never run out of ways to keep your sound current.
On the front of the sleek, black aluminum casing lies 10 rotary knobs, six buttons and two displays. These provide you with hands-on control of every single parameter. Thanks to the inclusion of MIDI ins and outs you'll be free to connect your favourite synths and drum machines via DIN and USB cables. The onboard CV outputs are excellent for connecting headphones for real-time monitoring on stage. Incredibly powerful, if the Duo X can't do it then it must be impossible!

The Duo X provides you with two styles of rotary controls. These can be configured to suit your every want and need. Right below the duo screens are two large scale controllers. You'll find these particularly useful for easy access to a wide range of presets when navigating through menus. The eight controls below these are neatly divided into two lines of four. Excellent for real time tonal manipulation, they provide the feel of traditional potentiometers with the addition of start and end signifiers.
The inclusion of instant recall allows you to easily switch between "scenes" at the press of a single button. This handy feature makes the Duo X a real asset when it comes to performing complex pieces. These scenes can be recycled as many times as you desire during a recording session or even in the performance of a single song. This unit will make your life easier and tone sound greater than ever before.
No problem. The Duo X's audio inputs include three different analog preamps. If you're switching between multiple instruments this feature will save you huge amounts of time as the inputs provide automatic gain compensation. Switching between guitar and synth set-ups in a matter of seconds has never been so easy.
One of the most impressive features that sets the Duo X apart from its competitors is its ability to support internal CV. Coming complete with a wide variety of utilities and modules that are powered by CV. You'll be able to perfectly emulate the feeling of operating an analog device when adjusting filters, pitch and oscillator volumes in real time.
MOD Devices knew that the Duo X would be an invaluable tool to both touring and session musicians. That's why they went to great lengths to ensure its body is built to withstand the vigors of live performance and extensive use. The monolithic aluminium frame not only boasts maximum aesthetic appeal, it is perfect for keeping the inner components of your Duo X in optimised conditions at all times. Extremely durable, it'll always look and perform as great as the day it left the factory!
The Duo X was designed to be expanded. Thanks to its open standard build, you'll be able to broaden the possibilities of your set-up by connecting additional controls such as footswitch and extension pedals. The broad range of connectivity options on offer allows you to easily merge up to four control chain peripherals.
