Key Features
Product Ref: 85090
With its charcoal burst quilted maple top, maple binding and vector fret inlays, the Schecter is a beauty to behold. Its mahogany body offers a strong construction, producing warm, soft tones that are well balanced. The body also provides excellent amounts of grind and bite, giving the guitar plenty of depth in its sound, and offering full lows with appealing highs.
The Schecter's rosewood fingerboard is naturally oily and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pours, producing a rich sound. The maple neck will withstand the test of time and usage as it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. The Schecter Banshee Extreme also features high quality tuners with a classic design in a lubricated and sealed housing to protect gears for a lifetime.
The Schecter features Schecter Diamond Plus pickups built with over-wound coils and ceramic magnets, creating a high output pickup with excellent energy and push. With a HSS setup, the Banshee can provide an excellent range of tonal possibilities that suit a wide range of musical styles. The tone control features a coil tap function which lets you switch from the humbucker to sparkling single coil, making the Extreme-6 an incredibly versatile guitar.
Schecter is one of the world's premier guitar companies, creating and selling electric guitars and basses, acoustic guitars and USA Custom Shop instruments to musicians around the world. They combine quality with affordability to suit a variety of different players and diverse musical styles. The company has a growing number of high profile artists playing their instruments, such as musicians from Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, The Cure, Papa Roach, Seether and more.
