Dual humbucking pickups are usually the sign of a rock guitar, and this Guitar's San Andreas humbuckers don't disappoint. They deliver powerful articulation and sustain, exploiting every ounce of tone from the warm and resonant mahogany body. The two humbuckers offer an incredibly hot output, delivering incredibly powerful mids and highs to cut through even the densest mixes while the low end is perfectly pushed and driven to ensure you receive a well-balanced sound. The San Andreas pickups are the ideal choice for players seeking a powerful rock and metal tone with the flexibility to be more subtle at times.
This Schecter is also equipped with a push/pull pickup coil tap, providing players with a huge amount of tonal options. Located on the tone control, the coil-tap allows the pickups to switch from a standard humbucker to a single-coil, expanding the Schecter E-1’s tonal possibilities and delivering an extremely versatile performance. While this feature is perfect for experimentation, it is also ideal for live situations when an array of tones are required.
The Schecter E-1 guitar features a body constructed from high quality mahogany, producing powerful tones suitable for a variety of playing styles. The mahogany body offers a naturally rich, warm character, with a balance of grind and bite to create tight lows and appealing highs. The wood provides this guitar with an excellent amount of depth, producing an incredible sustain which lets notes sing. A koa top adds an incredibly stylish aesthetic to the E-1 guitar, while its TonePros bridge and T1Z tailpiece offers incredibly string stability.
The 3-piece mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard combination provides the E-1 Schecter with tight, warm tones and a defined character. The two tonewoods work well together, creating an open midrange with a fast attack, a muscular, controlled bass, and a snappy, sizzling high-end. The neck’s 'C' profile is ideal for fast playing styles and speed runs, designed to allow the hand to naturally cup the neck for an incredibly comfortable playing experience. It also comes with many other features including Schecter locking machine heads, an Ernie Ball compensated nut, and block inlays made from mother of pearl.
