The Signature guitar has a body constructed from high quality Mahogany to produce powerful tones. The Mahogany body offers naturally rich, warm tones, with a balance of grind and bite to create tights lows and appealing highs. The wood provides the guitar with an excellent amounts of depth and helps produce an incredible sustain. Designed with black chrome hardware, and a Hipshot ‘A’ style bridge, the Schecter is given a gloss black finish with a white ‘BLS’ distressed flag graphic to give it a sleek and stylish look.
The Maple/Walnut neck and Ebony fingerboard has been designed with a thin "C" shape for a smooth, fast play. Using both Maple and Walnut for the neck gives the guitar’s tone bright characteristics, with plenty of warmth to it. The two woods work together to produce frim lows, sizzling highs, and a snappy attack in the mids. Adding an Ebony fingerboard adds tightness to the guitars tone, giving it definition, along with a muscular, controlled bass and snappy sizzling highs. The guitar also comes with many other features including Grover tuners and a JG designed inlay at the 12th fret.
Featuring a set of EMG 35HZ’s, the Schecter bass has plenty of output to produce incredible tones. Using ceramic bar magnets with steel bars, the EMG pickups are designed the same as a humbucker to offer low noise and a high output. The pickup can produce warm tones with a smooth attack and a big mid-range response.
