Are you looking for something new? The Schecter Robert Smith Ultracure VI is what you are looking for. It is essentially a six-string guitar, a full octave lower that gives fresh and new tones that aren’t commonly heard in music. This won’t feel or play like anything you have played either. It has an extended scale length which allows the tension on the strings to be correct meaning those super-low notes aren’t just going to buzz against the frets.
Each of the three pickups can be individually turned on or off which gives you huge tonal scopes! The possibilities are huge, being able to blend whatever pickups you want together will allow you to find sounds that would not be impossible on any other instrument. But this isn’t just about the bass. The Ultracure has a sweet treble response that is almost bell-like which perfectly balances out the bass end. No part of the Ultracure feels out of place, plug it into a bass or guitar amp (or both) at your leisure and see how you want to make it work for you!
Warmth and quality
SJAG pickups are loaded in the Ultracure. These are designed for warmer toned instruments like this, adding extra output with a vintage vibe which extends its usefulness. These pickups are great from blues tones right up to surf and country styles of music and approximate the original Bass VI beautifully.
Respect for quality hardware
The Ultracure VI is finished off with impressive hardware, like the Tone Pros bridge. Tone Pros provide professional quality upgrades to guitars, giving great sustain and tone. The bridge is completed with brass saddles which help warm the tone up further, giving you a rich and complex bass response. The Graph Tech nut stops string slippage which means your strings are free to vibrate properly without interference, giving better vibration transfer for the pick-ups for a bigger, stronger sound.
