The Signature bass’s body is crafted from high quality Mahogany into a unique casket shape for a stylishly gothic look. The Mahogany body offers naturally rich, warm tones, with a balance of grind and bite to create tights lows and appealing highs. The wood provides the guitar with an excellent amounts of depth and helps produce an incredible sustain. With black binding, chrome hardware, and a Schecter custom bridge, the bass guitar is given a satin black finish to emphasize the gothic look of the casket shaped body.
The 3-piece Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard has been designed to provide a smooth, fast play, perfect for shredding with. The Mahogany/Ebony combination produces tight, warm tones that are defined and open with a fast attack. The two woods provide the guitars sound with a muscular, controlled bass and snappy, sizzling highs. It also comes with many other features including Schecter machine heads, and mother of pearl star inlays with a star and dagger at the 12th fret..
The bass features a set of EMG 35P4 soapbars to deliver a wide range of sonic possibilities. The EMG 35P4’s are a P bass pickup in an extended range housing with the treble magnet closer to the neck to achieve classic and modern bass sounds. Designed with ceramic magnets and short squat coils, the pickups can produce a brilliant high end articulation with an incredible low end punch. Delivering warm tones, the EMG’s provide low noise with a natural presence and dyamics.
