Grand Symphony Body Shape

The Taylor GS Mini-e Electro Acoustic Bass is equipped with a grand symphony body shape which delivers a rich and robust tone, along with dynamics and a powerful projection. This type of body shape is ideal for strumming or flatpicking, and its nipped in waist allows it to be held closer to the player's body.

As well as a comfortable body shape, the Mini-e also features a smaller scale, making it compact, lightweight and ultra comfortable on the hands. Despite its condensed 23-1/2 inch scale length, the Mini-e offers natural-sounding bass notes that will cut through any acoustic mix.

ES-B Electronics

For added volume at larger events, the GS Mini-e Electro Acoustic Bass Guitar is equipped with an ES-B pickup and preamp, along with a built-in chromatic tuner. The preamp/tuner sidemount is located on the upper bout, and features an LED display and control options for Tone and Volume. This ES-B system provides upto 300 hours of use, and even conserves battery life by using an automatic on/off system.

D'Addario Bass Strings

For that excellent tone, this Mini-e Bass features a set of D'Addario bass strings which have a custom nylon-core with phosphor bronze wrap wire. Players can expect a warm, bright and well balanced acoustic tone, along with superb intonation.
