Why choose a dreadnought guitar?
If you want a great tone with maximum projection, a dreadnought guitar is the way to go. Compared to a concert guitar, the deeper body provides vibrant overtones that contribute greatly to its fuller sound, as well as offering an increase in sustain. Dreadnought guitars are renowned for the fantastic low-end response they provide, which, when paired with their articulate midrange make them an ideal choice for strumming parts across a broad range of musical styles.
The increased projection generated by the dreadnought guitar shape makes them ideal for unplugged performances in intimate venues or for buskers who don't want to haul around an amplifier. The dreadnought shape is also often preferred for its large dynamic range, allowing players to use the feintest of fingerpicking all the way up to powerful strumming. Whatever your style, a dreadnought acoustic guitar fits the bill!
Built with excellence in mind
Providing the finest playing experience, the dreadnought guitar is comprised of the same materials found in our high-spec models. The inclusion of sealed chrome tuners guarantee exceptional tuning stability so you can perform with total confidence, knowing your guitar’s tuning will be maintained throughout.
This is reinforced via the inclusion of a thermally treated, oiled poplar laminate bridge. The sapele mahogany neck contributes to the guitar’s warm sound, reinforcing its midrange and adding additional overtones. For maximum aesthetic appeal, the guitar comes complete with a cream 3ply binding around the edge of the body, as well as white dot inlays on the fretboard. Both of which compliment the stylish natural finish.
