ENGL Amplifiers

Many of ENGL amplifiers feature several channels and switchable functions such as reverb and boost. The Z-9 Footswitch gives you instant access to all of these functions and is the perfect gigging tool for changing your compatible ENGL amp sounds in an instant.

Operating Modes

The Z-9 can function in either MIDI mode, or can operate using ENGL's proprietary S.A.C. mode (Serial Amp Control). In S.A.C. mode, the Z-9 lets you select any of the 4 channels in your amplifier and includes a further two switches for accessing additional amp functions. The MIDI mode allows you to program 10 different presets, accessed in two banks, and can allow scenes to be stored in your amplifier. These two pedal modes radically expand the potential of your ENGL amplifier and provides an ideal solution for the performing musician who needs quick access to different sounds.

Gigging Features

The Z-9 is features a rugged metal case and hard-wearing footwitches designed for the rigours of gigging and touring. The LED lights provide a very clear indication of which mode you are currently in, while the multiple power options (including phantom power via MIDI / S.A.S.) allow you to keep the stage free of power cables if you require.
