Equipped on this model are a duo of Seymour Duncan pickups with an SSB-4B at the bridge and an SSB-4N neck. These are both exceptional components that are extremely important in shaping the sound of a bass guitar. The bridge pickup offers a high-output tone that provides clarity and definition to the overall sound. Its ceramic magnets and overwound coils ensure that the voicings produced by this pickup is both powerful and precise. On the other hand, the SSB-4N has a more traditional single-coil design that offers a warm, full-bodied tone that is perfect for melodic playing. The Alnico V magnets and focused coil wind deliver the perfect blend of highs, mids, and lows, ensuring that the notes produced are smooth and expressive.
