Meticulously engineered to deliver sheer playability. Everything in this guitar was crafted to Bill's personal specifications to deliver an instrument that would play as well as it sounded. The choice of macassar ebony for the neck works both for its fast action and smooth surface, as well as its hard-wearing properties. The mahogany neck and body join in a set-thru design to unleash soaring sustain that'll instantly elevate your playing. The TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece only adds to the sustain, while also providing stability. Finally, since Mastodon's diversity takes them into diverse sonic territories, Bill needed a guitar that could handle it all- from pristine cleans though to grinding fuzziness. The choice to apply push-pull coil-splitting control wired separately for each pickup allows this with ease, so you can play everything from Stairway to Heaven to Spectrelight.
