A one-piece mahogany SlimTaper C neck delivers unrivalled playability, guaranteeing a comfortable grasp of the guitar, meaning you can remain in full control of whilst still jumping to and from the extremes of the fretboard. The Indian laurel fretboard enhances this experience, ensuring an unblemished crisp surface to effortlessly glide across, without any hinderance.
Rock and roll has always been at the heart of the SG’s creation, and this Epiphone model doesn’t differ. Crafted in close partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop, Epiphone have managed to produce an SG model that is faithful to the original Gibson guitars. Equipped with two Gibson BurstBucker pickups, the guitar's natural tone is excellently captured. Possessing elevated dynamic sensitivity and a blissful crunch, these make for a truly delightful tone. Easily shaped with two separate volume and tone dials, and a three-way selector switch, the guitar can be utilised in far more genres than just rock.
Every piece of this instrument’s hardware works to offer the utmost stability it can. An Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge ensures string tension and intonation is consistent. When combined with Epiphone’s lock tone stop bar, you make those practice sessions last longer without tuning breaks and tonal mishaps, allowing you to shine in the band room or glow on stage.
