Enjoy a warmth and body in every note thanks to the Casino's hollow body construction. With a five-layer maple material and a spruce contour brace you can expect a sound that projects nicely even when playing unplugged! But more than that the worn finish on top of it all provides a sophisticated retro tinge that truly makes the Epiphone Casino stand out from a crowd.
Pro tone
Each of the Epiphone PRO P-90s loaded into this guitar shines with sonic beauty. The bridge pickup is bright and twangy, offering a higher output for sharp crunch and plenty of volume. It's got the characteristics of a vintage pickup mixed with modern tone and definition. The neck humbucker is equally impressive, offering a warmer sound which is both fat and super clear. It's great for bringing out the full potential of lead licks, and giving them a full, saturated voicing, or making chords sound darker.
Crucially, they're backed up with individual volume and tone controls wired with CTS potentiometers - meaning you can easily roll of the the volume to clean up the sound without sacrificing tone. Shape your sound with precision without even touching your amp!
Comfortable to play
The mahogany neck is made to a 60s C profile, so you can be sure that it provides your hand with the ultimate comfort and manoeuvrability - and a vintage feel. Then there's the Indian laurel fretboard that's inlayed with the original trapezoid patterns, giving you a totally authentic style and smooth touch.
The fretboard is cut into a 12" radius that provides plenty of room for string bends and chording, allowing you to unleash your creativity!
