Key Features
The Eventide UltraTap is a unique multi-tap delay pedal that creates rhythmic delays, pad-like volume swells, unique modulation and glitchy reverb all in a compact pedal format. UltraTap's controls allow you to explore new and incidental delay effects. Featuring all the expected controls such as Feedback, Mix and Delay, the UltraTap also has controls for Spread, Slurm and Chop that open up a new world of possibilities.
The UltraTap is the perfect tool to explore previously unchartered territories by creating staccato leads, swelling synth-like chords, and other evolving effects - everything from reversed reverbs to the sound of the Grand Canyon. Integrate the UltrapTap to your existing pedalboard and pair with other effect types like fuzz or distortion to create sounds reminiscent of analogue synthesizers.

Offering an almost limitless amount of delay potential via the six dual-function parameters, the UltraTap can store up to five presets that can be directly accessed from the pedal using the Active and Tap footswitches, with up to 127 in total accessible via MIDI or the Eventide Device Manager. Further to this, the footswitches also allow control of momentary or latching activation and tap tempo. You can plug in an external expression pedal and map any combination of parameters to this, allowing you to expand the delay time to create cosmic sized atmosphere or widen the spread for large stereo imaging.
A sound tweaker's dream, you can create simple repeats in pristine digital delay fashion, or take advantage of the multi-tap function, creating space between your delays with chorus and reverb. You can even experiment with the spacing of repeats in the beginning, middle and end of your delays to create otherwordly ambience and rhythmic complexity.
Smear the attack of the delays with the slurm function to affect your delay transients, blending delayed signals together to create truly unique soundscapes. Combine with the Taper control to alter the subsequent delay trails by either fading the delay volume up or down or remain constant over time. Access the six-dual function parameters with the Catch-Up knob to have control over the Chop and Speed/Rise/Release controls to create unusual and expressive amplitude modulation of taps to chop a sound source into stuttered rhythms. The UltraTap is the perfect solution for those looking to go beyond the normality with their delay trails to create an atmosphere that was previously only achievable in the studio environment.
UltraTap featured on the legendary H3000 multi-effects unit. Now available in an easy to use compact pedal format, the UltraTap Stompbox has retained all of the flexibility. Don't be fooled into thinking this is only for electric guitar, try it on acoustic guitar or nylon string guitar for some added atmosphere and rhythmic complexity in your music. Additional features such as a Guitar/Line level input switch extend the UltraTaps versatility. This allows you to use the UltraTap both live and in the studio on a range of instruments, not just guitar! Apply the UltraTap to keys, vocals or even full drum mixes.
