You cannot tie the Jaguar down to just one genre. Some guitars specialise in their style and components to shine in a particular category, but the Jaguar is an instrument that has the versatility to adapt. It's loaded with two special "60th anniversary" single coils that seamlessly recreate the original voicings. You have access to that sweet, glassy twang which Fender do so well. The vintage inflection of these coils gives every note presence and definition and is articulate even when pushed with copious amounts of overdrive.
Rather than a 3-way selector like most guitars with two pickups, the Jaguar feature two separate circuits: lead and rhythm. Switch between these to explore an enormous soundscape, from biting lead attack to luscious and unctuous rhythm flows. Dial in the master tone and volume controls to sculpt your sound even further. And if that wasn't enough, there's a bass cut "strangle" switch to instantly remove some of the lower frequencies, giving your soaring solos the emphasis they deserve.
