A classic reborn. The Fender '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb takes the original and adds brilliant features that make it a more versatile amp with myriad tone options. This modernised reissue is dressed in the beautiful 'silver face' cosmetic which houses an updated version of the original circuit. The Custom Deluxe Reverb allows the use of reverb and tremolo on both channels with the second of those channels operating with a modified Bassman tone stack which is perfect for those of us who like to use different FX.

A 22 watt powerhouse of an amplifier with an early breakup and plenty of tricks up its sleeve. This is partially due to a reduction in negative feedback which allows for much greater touch sensitivity Like two amps in one. With the freshly voiced custom channel which uses a tuned version of the classic Bassman tone stack. It has a fat sound with extraordinary bass and midrange response. Put a gain pedal in front of it and feel the hairs on your neck respond dutifully – it’s absolutely superb. Next up, the familiar, classic vintage channel. Delivering a true glassy tone, filled with jangle and beautiful breakup which people fell in love with since the amp's original inception.
The 12" Celestion® G12V-70 does an incredible job of bringing the best out of this amp. The G12V-70 elicits a sweetness that carries all that vintage charm of which the amp excels at so well. But then you crank your amp and the G12V handles it with absolute ease, allowing the natural overdrive of the cranked tubes to really come to life.
The Fender '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb has true valve-driven reverb and tremolo. Filled with harmonic complexity and depth, there is nothing quite as distinctive as Fender's classic spring reverbs and tremolos. They add atmosphere and three-dimensionality to your tone that rendered Fender masters of their field.
