Three 12AX7s and a 12AT7 in the preamp help to craft your tone, delivering punch, clarity, and bite in the high end. The duo of 6L6 output valves then deliver thunderous power, which will fill any venue with bass. This technology may be as old as time itself, but it is still the favourite for many bassists around the world - because it still sound spectacular, and it's real!
Dial in your dream tone
A man like Adam Clayton demands exacting control over his sound. And with his signature amp, this is exactly what you'll have. The ACB 50's two-channel design allows you to explore two vastly different amp voicings. Go from a vintage-style mid-scooped Fender tone to a much more modern, cutting-edge hi-fi, flat EQ voicing at the push of a button. You'll then be able to carve out your own sound using a dynamic array of EQ dials for each channel. There's even a dedicated Mid Freq midrange control for one of the channels, which lets you accurately shape your mids. It switches between Low, Mid, and High, which gives you unparalleled mastery over this frequency.
