Now you can add the Jazzmaster's unmistakable, off-set silhouette to that list. Its mahogany, Modern Deep "C" neck is adorned with a snappy, sleek ebony fretboard, and allows your fingers to dance over the frets in a way that's almost impossible on a conventional acoustic.
The built-in, Fender and Fishman-designed acoustic engine uses a unique combination of three separate pickups to provide a multitude of desirable tones, reminiscent of dreadnought acoustics to classic Jazzmaster twang. The expertly crafted body features Fender's patent-pending Stringed Instrument Resonance System, which gets the maximum acoustic projection out of this comfortable, thin, mahogany body. The Fender American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster is built with an all-mahogany body, providing a resonant, earthy and warm tone that is the perfect springboard for any acoustic inspired sound. This means that the natural, unplugged tone of the instrument is strong and full, for an authentic acoustic experience that can now - thanks to cutting edge technology - be translated from a plugged in acoustic all the way to a full-blown electric guitar sound. The fingerboard is ebony, and guarantees a wonderfully comfortable playing feel whilst balancing out the visually lighter natural aesthetic of the exposed wood top. Complete with a satin urethane finish and modern 'deep C' neck shape, you'll be sure to glide across the fretboard with ease.

The Fender American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster is a marriage of the acoustic and electric guitar worlds. Designed to offer all the delicacy of an acoustic voice, but with the capability of switching to the ferocity of an electric in the blink of an eye - the Acoustasonic is truly a performers dream. But how does it work? Well, there is a five-way selector and a blend knob next to the volume which allows you to move from one tonal voice to another and everything in-between. Each of the five selectable positions has two different voices respectively, allowing for 10 sonic combinations that can be blended in and out of each other.
