The Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe is built with a solid alder body, bringing a naturally rich voice to the guitar which is moulded by the pickups for a truly unique tone. Aside from providing a base of the sound, as the wood matures and loses moisture over time – the sound changes. So, you’ll be rewarded with tonal development over time and multiple uses. What’s more, you can be sure you’ll have the time to do it, as the maple neck and fingerboard provide a sturdy and durable performance as well as adding some sparkling brightness to the sound.
The Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe is part of a series that has been introduced as the closest, most accurate take of the revolutionary early Fender designs. Built with period accurate features – this guitar was Fender’s first Telecaster to feature two humbucking pickups alongside a solid body. You’ll also find a comfortable contoured belly cut and a larger headstock – which are both vintage features that are true to the original designs of this guitar.
Most crucially, the Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe comes equipped with CuNiFe pickup magnets – a technology revived specifically for the development of this guitar. They deliver a more aggressive tone than the single coils synonymous with the other Tele models, but can be easily tamed – especially on the neck – for a more delicate and gentle output. On the other hand, they will respond incredibly well to being pushed hard, offering a fiery sound that is powerful and perfect for those lead/solo moments of the set. You’ll be able to find your own unique voice thanks to the three-way pickup up selector and four controls with a dedicated volume and tone for each pickup.
The Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe is the epitome of comfort and style, made for your playing convenience to look and sound great onstage, at home or in the studio. Included is a pure vintage 6-saddle hardtail bridge which works with the bone nut and deluxe tuning pegs to hold your guitar in tune for longer. This means you can say goodbye to re-tuning between every song.
What’s more, these components also ensure comfortable action of the strings over the bridge, combining to help you give the best performance possible. All of the hardware is complete with a nickel/chrome finish which will complement the gorgeous mocha wrap of your guitar for a one-of-a-kind visual aesthetic. What’s more, the exposed timber of the maple neck and fingerboard brings a natural, bright and earthy feel to the mix which ensures you’ll be the envy of your audience.
