Key Features
An incredible Nashville discovery. The Fender Brent Mason Telecaster celebrates the guitar that the legendary session musician found in a Nashville music shop in the early 80s. And if it's good enough for the man who's worked with Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, and Carrie Underwood - it's probably good enough for you.
It's a familiar design with surprising features. A Tele with three pickups, this guitar boasts two Seymour Duncan single-coils and a vintage mini humbucker giving you endless sonic potential. A dedicated volume knob and a push/pull control for the middle pickup lets you roll between classic Telecaster tone and Stratocaster sting. You'll also be able to quench your experimental thirst with the Glaser Bender System. This design lets you bend the B-string at will using your fretting hand so you can inject unrivalled character to your tone. Feed your need for musical substance.

That classic country sound is great. There’s something about it that just makes you feel at peace. But that doesn’t mean you can’t make it your own. Tweaking and updating already good musical ideas and making them even better is what keeps us as musicians interested, no, fixated on playing. Now Fender and Brent Mason have given us access to a guitar that provides all the tools we need to do just that.
You don’t often see three pickups in a Tele. So, when you do it’s all the more exciting – especially when there's a humbucker too. The Mini Vintage at the neck of this guitar has been voiced to mirror the one in Mason’s own model. It brings mid-range and low emphasis that’s unachievable on a standard Tele while maintaining that sweet spot on the highs essential to country. The Hot Stack Strat in the middle reinforces this mid-range attack and you can blend it in as much or as little as you want with the dedicated volume knob. Finally, the bridge's Vintage Stack Tele brings the Tele twang you want - with no noise or hum.
Bend to oblivion. It’s simpler than you might think. With the featured Joe Glaser Bender system, you can easily bend the B-string (or G-string if you flip the saddles) by pulling the neck down with your fretting hand. Doing this triggers a lever on the neck plate. Your guitar strap connects to this lever via the included Dunlop strap lock giving you ultimate control over the amount of bend you want to add. And you don’t have to worry about falling out of tune after using it because the locking Sperzel tuners will keep it tight and precise. Enjoy pedal steel effects, out of this world licks, and shimmering chords all under your ultimate control.
Sleek. Refined. Superior. There's a reason Fender choose maple for a lot of necks. It gives you smooth fret transitions, comfortable grip, and beautiful, bright resonance so you can express yourself cleanly and with complete accuracy. There's also a pristine maple fretboard to go with it. Delivering the ideal playing experience, your fingers will be in paradise when they feel just how smooth, fast, and comfortable this tool truly is. You'll be able to improvise at will. Whether you're jamming some ideas or recording your next hit, this snappy, premium wood delivers the perfect resonance and playability.
The word legend is thrown around a lot. But with Brent Mason’s back catalogue you know he’s one. He’s a part of the Country Music Hall of Fame, has won a Grammy, earned twelve Guitarist of the Year awards from the Academy of Country Music, and was named one of the top ten session guitarists of all time by Guitar World magazine. You just can’t deny his skills. And with this guitar in your hands, you can take his legacy and build your own. Follow in his footsteps by recording alongside the biggest names in country music or become one yourself. Either way, this is a guitar that wants to come along for the ride.
