Two-piece alder body

Alder, favoured by many players for its incredibly balanced tone, offers excellent dynamic sensitivity and a sound versatile in nature, making it the perfect choice to suit a wide variety of musical styles. Here Fender have carefully selected two-piece alder, elevating every exciting essence of the tonewood to the next echelon. Excellent sustain and resonance really allow your basslines to boom with impeccable depth, effortlessly cutting itself a place within the mix. Well-rounded in every frequency, the alder body is the perfect choice when it comes to tonewood for a bass guitar, ensuring that every note you play has enough depth and drive in every setting.

Incredible playability

Fender’s basses are always fantastic to play, and of course, this custom shop is no exception. Every aspect from how this bass feels, to how the guitar plays is carefully sculpted by Fender resulting in a truly exceptional instrument. A “U” shaped maple neck offers a comfortable grasp, resulting in full control of the instrument, whilst still producing enough freedom to bounce from note to note. A delightful rosewood fretboard simultaneously provides a delicate surface to glide across, whilst also adding exceptional well-rounded tonal qualities. An absolute dream to play.

This Jazz bass comes with the iconic J-bass pickups. Two separate pickups positioned at the neck and bridge offer an incredible amount of tonal clarity.
