Featuring hand-wound Jazzmaster pickups with period correct wiring and components, the '62 Jazzmaster brings the past to life through its magnificent pickups. Boasting crisp highs, smooth, syrupy lows and a full, defined mid-range, these wide single coils are up to the task, whatever you want to play.
But this is a Jazzmaster, so in addition to fine control over your sound through master volume and tone dials, you can instantly switch up your sonics through a period-correct lead / rhythm circuit on the neck pickup. Inject extra bite, or give presence to the lows to lend your chords extra body, anything's possible on this Custom Shop beauty.
Round-lam rosewood
Fret with freedom. It's the pinnacle of playability. Rosewood fretboards are some of the best surfaces out there, and the round-lam material Fender have used here surpasses the rest.
