A trio of Custom Shop hand-wound '59 single-coil Strat pickups provide this model with its monstrous tone. From crisp and clean highs to well-balanced and punchy lows, this model offers the perfect dynamic range that can handle a variety of genres. Not only that, but it has a classic, vintage twang that can be heard in many records from the '50s.
Wanting to change the way this Stratocaster plays? There are a range of controls that you can use to find your desired voicing. Featured on board are two tone controls that allow you to edit the pickups individual tonal qualities. This has been complemented by a 5-way pickup switch, letting you choose which pickups you want to perform. Perfect with one single-coil or choose all three for a full, punchy, and powerful sound.
Discover beautiful overtones
The tone is primarily produced by the trio of pickups. However, each of the materials provide their own tonal qualities, ensuring this Custom Shop Stratocaster offers incredible overtones. The body is sculpted from alder, which produces a full-bodied and punchy tone.
This has been complemented by a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, both in which balance each other out perfectly for a balanced sound. The maple offers a crisp and clear clarity, a sound that is mellowed by the warmth and richness of the rosewood.
