The Fender FSR American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster is a marriage of the acoustic and electric guitar worlds in perfect harmony. Designed to offer all the delicacy of an acoustic voice, but with the capability of switching to the ferocity of an electric in the blink of an eye - the Acoustasonic is truly a performer's dream. But how does it work? Well, there is a five-way selector and a blend knob next to the volume, which allows you to move from one tonal voice to another and everything in-between. Each of the five selectable positions has two different voices respectively, allowing for 10 sonic combinations that can be blended in and out of each other.

This gives you almost unlimited sonic potential when hooked up to even the most basic rig. This is all made possible by the innovative Fender and Fishman-designed Acoustic Engine. This piece of all-new engineering allows you to tap into such a wealth of different sounds by blending classic analog technologies with the cutting edge of modern innovation. This is done by optimising your guitar's natural sound before modifying the resonance for a range of different guitar sounds.

The Fender FSR American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster is built with a mahogany body with a Sitka spruce top, providing a resonant, earthy and rich tone that is the perfect springboard for any acoustic inspired sound. The spruce also provides a nice balance to the harmonics of the guitar, with tight lows, bright highs and a strong projection in the midrange. The fingerboard is ebony, and guarantees a wonderfully comfortable playing feel whilst balancing out the visually lighter natural aesthetic of the spruce top. Complete with a satin urethane finish and modern 'deep C' neck shape, you'll be sure to glide across the fretboard with ease.
