With the Burstbucker pickups in this Les Paul Standard '50s, you can have all the tone in the world. Made from Alnico II magnets, they offer high output with vintage character. The bridge position pickup will give your rhythm tone the bold boost and vintage twang that it needs to sound rich, full, and vibrant. It will take you away to a universe of bright sounds, with its high output giving you plenty of crunch and clarity.
The Burstbucker 1 in the neck is a medium-output humbucker which gives your notes that rich creaminess which fills the room. Lead notes will have a full, flawless bottom end, whilst being able to scream and wail as much as you like. Whether playing with gain or clean as a whistle, every lick will be defined and saturated. With this pickup combination providing a solid foundation for your sound, your tone will be electrifying.
The Les Paul neck
The rounded mahogany neck on the Les Paul Standard '50s is a truly outstanding innovation which is as satisfying as it is playable.
