The Gibson SG Standard '61 Stop Bar is the timeless design that's universally adored, now presented in an alluring custom colour finish. These eye-catching coats are topped with Gibson's painstakingly hand-applied gloss nitro layer, giving it that unmistakable SG sheen that'll draw the spotlight straight to you. And if the sharp looks don't entice, then the uproarious sixties sounds certainly will! Gibson's '60s Burstbuckers take the hot rock sounds of the period and give you that in modern form, with alnico 5 magnets and the additional power to make your notes sing.
It's a guitar that's been played, loved, and rocked for decades, and all those original features are present on the SG Standard '61, including the revolutionary SlimTaper neck carve and premium rosewood fretboard with cream binding.
