Fantastic Filter’Tron pickups

One of the new innovations featured on the G5422TG electromatic is the all-new set of FT-5E Filter’Tron humbuckers. These pickups offer premium tone and crisp definition, perfectly capturing every slight nuance in your performance and emitting it with a punch of direct power. These pickups are combined with an upgraded control layout, which provides you with a treble bleed circuit, master tone, individual pickup volume controls and three-position switch, you have complete control of your instrument's sound.

Stunning Hollow-body build

Constructed from a laminated maple body, with an arched maple back, the hollowbody guitar delivers blissful highs and impeccable natural fundamentals, covering a multitude of frequencies. Featuring f-holes on the front, the natural projection of the instrument, allowing the guitar to breathe with an essence of air. Featuring fantastic trestle block bracing, the body of the instrument works to prevent feedback to ensure crystal clear tones. The increased strength and resilience thanks to this allows for snappier, faster attack that chimes with excellent presence.

Pristine playability

Ensuring premium playability, the Gretsch comes constructed with a classic “C” maple neck, ensuring a comfortable grasp whilst also allow the utmost freedom to efficiently move to and from the extremes of the fretboard with accuracy and precision. This is supported through a luscious laurel fretboard, which ensures an unblemished surface to blaze across completely unhindered. Gretsch guitars often go hand in hand with Bigsby Hardware, and the G5422TG is no exception. A delightful Bigsby B60 tailpiece delivers perfect vibrato to add a wave into your performance, while also ensuring the utmost stability in your tuning. This stability is also owed in part to an Adjusto-matic bridge and Vintage-style Open-Back tuning machines - both provide that final touch of stability to the sound. And, of course, they all feature a gold finish making the guitar glisten in the light.
