The Gretsch G6131-MY is equipped with a TV Jones Power'Tron pickup that respond to every pick and strum. Blending twang, fatness, sparkle and warmth. The Power'Tron offers a stronger mid-range and higher output than the TV Classic, resulting in a rounder top-end, natural mid-range presence and clean, compressed treble.
Ebony fingerboard and refined headstock
The Gretsch Malcolm Young Jet features an Ebony fingerboard which helps to add to the guitar's bright tone and twang. It also provides a nice, smooth feel under your fingers for easier playing, and makes solo performances a breeze. In addition, the double cutaway body helps to provide easy access to the higher notes.
Above the quality ebony fretboard is a bone nut to keep your strings free of buzz and mounted correctly. Schaller die-cast tuners allow you to attack this instrument with the meanest crunchy riffs and spicy solos without your tuning slipping, so jam with confidence and bring the lightning!
