High Quality Solid Wood
Crafted from carefully selected materials. The Hartwood Renaissance Ukulele has mahogany back and sides, with a solid spruce top. This combination helps produce a warm and balanced sound, enhancing your ukulele's mid-range. The solid spruce top also increases projection and volume, so you can be clearly cut through the mix when you play in a band.
The neck is made from okoume – a hardwood known to be strong and resistant to moisture. This is topped with a smooth fingerboard with 15 frets. Built from sustainable artificial rosewood, the fingerboard provides an excellent touch response – for instinctive and natural playing.
Amplify Your Playing
Perform plugged-in. Perfect for gigs, the Hartwood Renaissance Electro Acoustic Soprano Ukulele includes an inbuilt preamp. Connect directly to an amp or PA system for louder sounds. You could even add effects processing, such as distortion and loop pedals, for a unique performance. The Preamp includes tone and volume controls, with a full 20Hz-20kHz frequency response – so you can customise your sound to match your playing.
Reliably Built
Maintain excellent, stable tuning. The diecast chrome tuning pegs are strong and durable, retaining your tuning for longer. The Hartwood Renaissance Ukulele also comes with Aquilla strings, which provide a great tone and hold their tuning well. They have a smooth feel to them, making them very comfortable to play.
The instrument's high quality woods are produced from sustainable materials and require little maintenance. All this ensures your ukulele is reliable and trustworthy to play. It's easy to transport and durable, with a quality build to stand the test of time.
