Thick tone, thin body. Much of the Hofner Verythin’s appeal comes from its combination of solid-body size and semi-acoustic tone. With just a 3cm frame depth, the hollow body is light as a feather, while producing the rich, warm tones semi-acoustic guitars are known for.
Some semi-acoustics suffer from excessive feedback at high gain levels - not this one! A spruce centreblock is also fitted within the body to sure up the frame, allowing greater sustain, and reducing feedback.
Finished to perfection
The Verythin has the looks to match its superior sound. This UK exclusive model features a matt dark stain finish, which shows off the eye-catching grain pattern of the mahogany top piece in style. The same goes for the flame maple back and sides, which also add a slight increase in top-end clarity to the guitar’s sound, as well as helping you stand out on any stage!
