Passion and Warfare. Both are in plentiful supply with the Ibanez JEM Junior Steve Vai. Designed to legendary guitar player Steve Vai's exacting standards, the JEM Junior features his signature aesthetic touches, such as the ergonomic 'monkey grip' body handle, and dazzling 'tree of life' fretboard inlay. Vai's original JEM was instrumental in popularising the locking tremolo system in the 1980's, and the JEMJR's double-locking trem bridge will have you dive-bombing to your heart's content, with rock-solid tuning to boot.
The JEM boasts a versatile Ibanez Infinity HSH pickup set. From liquid lead licks to powerchord punch, they match the supple Jatoba fretboard for a detailed, high end response with plenty of midrange weight. The JEM Jr's Wizard III maple neck was designed with virtuosi like Vai and Joe Satriani in mind, and completes a guitar that's made for speed. No Real Illusions here - the JEM Junior is a truly Flex-Able guitar that's built to grab you by the ears and the eyes.

This stunning limited-edition model from the Steve Vai range features a mahogany body accompanied by a maple neck and jatoba fingerboard, offering high-quality tonewoods with an eye-catching grain. A signature 'monkey grip' is incorporated into the guitar's design and adds to its unique appearance. The JEM Junior is given a finish inspired by the shocking pink finish of Steve Vai's JEM777 30th Anniversary model.
The use of Ibanez's own Wizard III neck provides an extremely playable performance optimised for lead guitarists. The thin nature of the neck helps perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords. The angled headstock not only provides a stylish appearance, but also offers better string pressure. By increasing the pressure on the strings, it helps them stay in the nut slots and decreases loss of string vibration between the nut and the tuners, offering better sustain and smooth playability.
Steve Vai’s limited-edition JEM Junior is equipped with classic Infinity pickups, which the original JEM junior featured before being replaced by a set of Quantum pickups. The bridge Infinity Humbucker offers a rich, driving leads with an enhanced midrange and excellent dynamics. The neck Infinity Humbucker delivers a versatile, responsive tonality, providing articulate rhythm sections that retain clarity and offer extra tightness when overdriven. Set in the middle is the infinity single-coil pickup, designed to work with the humbuckers in split mode and enhance the tone with classic characteristics.
