They are essentially a single coil packed into a soapbar pickup, but infinitely more powerful and beefy. So, you get the clarity and twang of a single coil, but with added power and meat. As if that weren't enough, there's also an active three-band EQ control section, where you can tinker until you've found your perfect tone. It really doesn't get better than this.

Dial it in. The control section of the SR1355B is your gateway to perfect tone. The active three-band EQ lets you mould your bass, midrange, and treble frequencies to get a crisp, clear, articulate voicing. The EQ bypass switch lets you switch to a passive setting, ignoring the active circuit for a more natural voicing. And the three-way mid frequency switch allows you to select which part of the midrange you want to emphasise - go from tight and punchy to thick and juicy in an instant.
