Beautiful Combo Body

The combination of the Maple and Panga Panga topwood on the African Mahogany body gives this bass a tonewood like no other. The combination of woods is extremely complementary to each other and gives the bass tone a mellow and full low end. The wood combo of Maple, Mahogany and Panga Panga gives a incredibly resonant tone. Mahogany is very tough too, so you can be assured that your bass is ready for rigours the road.

High End Electronics

The electronics feature a set of Aguilar Super Double pickups. The SD Neck pickup provides a firmer low end, giving you a mellow warm sound and the SD Bridge pickup gives your tone a little more grit which sounds great when playing Rock bass riffs. The pickups can be selected and precisely controlled using the interface on the front of the bass guitar, giving you a quick way to edit tone settings. Aguilar's Super Double pickups have been used because they offer a perfect blend of strong dynamics and rich complex overtones, giving you a wide variety of tone options for your bass.

The Ibanez Custom Electronic Custom 3 Band EQ give you yet more control over your sound. Use the front interface knobs to attenuate low, mid and high frequencies to get the exact tone you want. Titanium Support

Titanium support rods run through the inside of the bass's neck, adding stability while reducing the amount of warping that may occur from temperature fluctuations and humidity. MR5S Bridge

The SR2405 boasts an optimized bridge set up. The MR5S bridge gives you a lot of dynamics via its wide intonation range and each string is fully isolated. Using independent locking, each part of the bridge is secured separately to the body. This allows your strings to vibrate almost endlessly giving you huge sustains.

Ibanez Bass Pedigree

The Ibanez story is an intriguing one.
