For a powerful bass tone, the Ibanez SR875 comes equipped with two Bartolini BH2 pickups in both the neck and bridge position. Its Bartolini BH2 pickups deliver a warm, balanced response with a tight bottom end and a full mid-range. Additionally, the Ibanez SR875 features Ibanez Custom 3-band EQ and three-way mid frequency switch with 250 Hz, 450 Hz and 700 Hz output options.
The Ibanez SR875 has a Blue Reef Gradation finish, which alone provides a truly eye-catching appearance, but with its flame maple top as well, the SR875 is certain to stand out from the crowd. The Ibanez SR875 2018 features a flame maple/walnut top which produces a clear attack and a unique earthy tone. Additionally, the SR875 also has a mahogany body which delivers a warm, fat low-end. As well as this, the SR875 offers comfortable contours and a single cutaway design, allowing full access to the whole fingerboard.
The SR875 features an SR5 5-piece jatoba/walnut neck which offers comfort, stability, and will not not warp or twist over time. The combination of jatoba and walnut provide the SR875 with a subtle amount of brightness and a great response. Additionally, the neck is topped with a jatoba fingerboard which enhances the overall tone of the guitar with projection, offering a strong, hard character which also adds extra punch. Furthermore, the fingerboard is sprinkled with abalone oval inlays for added beauty.
