Always stay in time
Never worry about effects dragging you out of time. With some pedals, when heavy effects such as delay are applied, it becomes easy to lose a grip of timing. The tap tempo function built in to the Kodiak ensures that this will never be a problem. The feature syncs up with each of the pedal's effects, including the tremolo's delay rate, to ensure studio quality, perfectly timed tremolo in every one of your live performances.
Unlimited array of voices
Endless experimentation for complete creative freedom. The JHS Kodiak's wave control feature gives you four unique variations to choose from, each of which can be tweaked to craft a wealth of different sounds. A sine voice gives you classic amp tremolo. Square creates a heavy, turbulent voice. The rhythmic setting creates a broad tremolo perfect for altering speed and crafting an original voice from scratch, and the ramp wave gives you a deep, warping, warbling tremolo. The possibilities are limitless.
Extensive choice with five controls
The range of choice is extremely broad. As well as the wave control, the Kodiak has four other dials to ensure variety of sound is at a maximum. There is a volume control to help boost your sound and cut through any mix. The speed control lets you alter the wave rate of your tremolo, and can be perfectly synced with the tempo tap feature. A mix control allows you to isolate your sound, acting as a preamp. Finally, a ratio control lets you perfectly sync your pedal with the BPM of your tempo tap. The Kodiak really does spoil for choice.
World-renowned, hand-made quality
Each and every JHS pedal is hand-crafted to ensure perfection in every model. Josh Scott, the company's founder, believes this is the key to his pedals' amazing popularity. Their unique and wide ranging pedals have gained prominence and acclaim across the rock music spectrum. They've helped U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, Beck, The Killers, Muse, David Bowie, and many more create their thrilling live sounds. With such a glittering array of names, you can be sure that a JHS pedal will help you to capture an equally brilliant sound.
The perfect addition to your pedalboard
No effects enthusiast just has the one pedal. Freedom to experiment with a range of different voices and pedals can be a vital asset. The Kodiak has top-mounted jacks, meaning it takes as little room as possible up on your pedalboard and can fit flush against your other effects boxes. Keep on growing your collection.
